Does your kid dream of writing his or her own video games? We’ve found a great way to get started: Scratch, the super-simple drag-and-drop multimedia programming language designed by MIT‘s Lifelong Kindergarten project.
Check out the video at the bottom of this page to see what kids can do with it, and how. We’ll be starting with simple projects and working up from there.
NOTE: Scratch is available to anyone for free on the Internet. Learn it at home! Or, sign up for one of our classes so one of Adventures with Robots’ trained instructors can lead you through a lesson plan, where you’ll learn how to make characters walk, talk and boogie across the screen. Scroll down for a video.
We provide two instructors; discounted tuition if we accept your school’s parent aide with programming experience.
